Nefertiti was an Egyptian queen and chief consort of the Pharaoh Akhenaten. She reigned with her husband at the wealthiest period of Ancient Egyptian history. She became famous because of her bust, one of the most copied works of ancient Egypt, now in a museum in Berlin. Her name means “The beautiful woman has come”.
