Egyptian blues

I look for my voice among my silences

hidden between fears

that I have been cultivating forever

in the marinade of centuries

of incomprehension

.

I found this image looking at a hieroglyph, just like that. It seemed to me that the figure was singing into a microphone, an ancient Egyptian singing the blues. So I painted her.

Acrylic and metallic paint on canvas.

50 cm x 40 cm.
