“Where are you running woman?” I was asked.
“I am going where I can breathe”, I replied.
“Where the air is clean and I can be myself. Where I can flower without fear of being censored, laugh in peace and walk in the moonlight without fear.
Where my blood and my milk are worth more than gold. Where I get hugged by the earth that gives me wings. And where my heart sings.”
And then,
my jail was painted pink and I calmed down.
